How We Started

Publishers Display Marketing got its start in 1987 in Vancouver Canada when the idea of bringing discount cookbooks and children’s books into local office lunchrooms became popular. We would place sample products with an order form in the lunchroom and leave them for several days and simply return and fill orders from the trunk of our car. This concept became huge and eventually continent wide in North America. Unfortunately with the security constraints after 911 and the advent of a burgeoning internet the concept of display marketing became less feasible.

Now we are back! Bigger and better than ever – Gone are the days where we would load our vehicles from a central warehouse and drive hundreds of miles a week to our customers locations. We now have made use of online methods to bring the same fantastic deals on popular books and novelties direct to you via the internet.
